In Greece, where generations of artisans have passed down the art of shoemaking, the name Hatzianastasiou has been connected with handmade footwear since 1938.
The story began with our grandfather, Charilaos Hatzianastasiou, who founded the family's first shoe business in 1938. Through the decades, the tradition continued, carried forward by the next generations and shaped by the knowledge, dedication, and passion of our family.
In 2013, the Hatzianastasiou family created The Workshop, a new chapter inspired by the same values that defined the family’s shoemaking journey: craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
Today, IOKASTE represents the evolution of that legacy.
Every pair is designed and handcrafted in our own workshop in Greece, where traditional shoemaking techniques meet modern design. From the selection of leather to the final stitch, each step is carefully completed by skilled hands.
We believe that a shoe should be more than an accessory. It should carry character, comfort, and a story.
